The Verona Series

The series started with an idea to do a show of the four seasons at Bello.

It was still winter at the time, but I had photos from last Spring of The Library, where I had my first Verona Show.

The two paintings took me 5 - 6 weeks.

I then went out with my camera to photograph with a series in mind, and saw paintings everywhere I looked.

I decided I needed to work smaller and faster (impressionistic paintings) and do a lot of them.

There will be at least 100 paintings in this series.

It’s like they are jumping out of me.
