Day Twenty Nine
I hadnāt attended the Sunday at 3 thing for so long that I thought it was at 2.
Not so many people around at that hour, but there was this one guy,
and he asked if he could take my picture.
He sent me the first three shown here.
When I first started this project,
I would bring my camera along,
specifically to ask people to do so.
My thinking at the time was,
my RESIST! sign was more or less asking people to take a stand,
and thus I felt it was on me to self-identify with the sentiment,
by putting my face and name with my words and photos here.
Prior to,
I pretty much kept my photo off of my site.
The reason why,
in a nutshell,
is because this thing that Iām about,
is exclusively about you (the individual),
and the universe.
No middlemen.
Iāve been writing about this very thing in my this just in project (see above).
Check it out.
Getting back to this day,
unbeknown to me,
this being shortly after the Renee Good shooting,
the organizers of this Sundayās event had invited the masses,
and they showed up.
It was weird to be out there pretty much alone,
and then suddenly a few thousand people with signs showed up.
Iām just not one to stand still in a crowd with a sign.
I normally do a lot of prancing around,
but this day,
there was no where to move.
I decided to walk around and take photos of the crowd,
before calling it a day.
We all have our strengths.
Iām not made for crowds or organized anything.
