Day Thirty Four

I made a new sign.
Resist! wasn’t working for me any more.
It just seemed too obvious.
Like I was patronizing the public or something.
“Tell me something I don’t know.”
Nobody says Resist! like Trump.
Holding a sign seemed redundant.
I’d say I decided on Together is Better, but there was no decision.
It was like something told me to make a new sign and have it say THIS,
and so that is what I did.
I see it as being post problem,
moving on to the solution.
I debuted the new sign yesterday in Montclair,
at the Bloomfield Ave and Park Street location.
I wanted to do my solo thing instead of the group Sunday at Three gathering a block down the road.
Not in opposition to,
but rather demonstrating a different way that perhaps makes it more personal, at least it does for me.
I believe that individual local creative expression is what will change the world from now.
As it turned out, this day was Mother’s Day.
I found it to be a good sentiment for the day.
It seems a mother’s nature to have the kids get along.
I was curious to see how the sign would go over, as it is clearly not taking a side.
What I experienced mostly, felt like sighs of relief.
Enough with all the hostility.
