MY WORK - THIS PAGE |

When I paint, I try to capture the character of every line, shape, color and tone. I can't truly understand the yellow, unless I understand the blue next to it, and the green all the way across the image. Everything is saying something about everything else. Life is like that. In order to truly appreciate any one aspect of it, you must see that thing in relationship to everything else - and you have to be able to look at all the parts with an equally passionate or dispassionate eye. I hope you will keep this thought in mind if you choose to ponder the enclosed, as this is the lens that will allow you to catch my meaning. The only context that applies here is everything. The individual parts only find meaning, in relation to the whole. I hope you will enjoy your experience and come back often, as I will be upgrading the site on a regular basis. Some of the content of these pages may not be suitable for children. Tim FolzenlogenAugust 6, 2001 |
