UPDATE

From the age of five until I was twenty-three, I used to have these way-down-the-road cosmic experiences. I’ve since come to think of them as being the universe intersecting with my life.

I was also born with an artistic gift that has always been recognized everywhere I go.

I believe that the two are related: the gift being the outward expression of the unexpressable.

My entire life (seeing as how it is deeply rooted in the universe) is also an outward expression of what I’ll call “the big thing”. I mean every thought, every conversation, every decision, and cannot not be.

It’s like I’m trapped by it.

It’s all I know.

One thing I know for sure is that I don’t know this, I haven’t lived this way for no reason.

This thing is too big for that. This thing is like everything else I have experienced on this planet, added together and squared a few billion times.

Truly, if you could look through that lens, you’d see that this big thing, is all I have ever done.

I find that the very best I can do is to act on every inspiration I have and record everything that does and does not happen. No? If you really think about it, the cards I’m holding, most especially the seriousness of these particular times - I just don’t see how I can do any better than that.

These days, being 74, I’m thinking that the greatest purpose of my particular life is the story I leave behind, as that is what will reach out and touch the most. That’s what all the ups, downs, and all arounds are all about. You want a story you can relate to.

My most recent telling of the story is My Montclair Art History Project (on-going as I write this).

Prior to that would be The Real Deal Art History of Cincinnati Project (most everything in projects)

this just in would be my on-going diary project of inspirations (above).

The Verona Series (in projects) is my most recent and on-going painting project. There will also be a Montclair Series (starting soon - same small impressionistic paintings). My plan is to paint 100 of each, posting them here, along with everything else I try to do over that period of time.

I think that these are the most exciting times to be alive on this planet EVER.

The whole world is about to change.

The next big thing is everybody.
