Universe Montclair

What I had intended to do was to debut the series, two at a time, on the sidewalks of Montclair, ala my Seinfeld Diaries Project, which I did in Manhattan.

I tried it for a couple of hours on Church Street one Sunday, and though I met a number of interested and interesting people, I didn’t feel it made my work and effort look good to those who didn’t stop to chat.

What came off as an interesting art project by a much younger artist in edgy Manhattan (you can see the Seinfeld Diaries Project in Projects ) just looked like a guy who couldn’t get into a gallery late in his career in Montclair.

Otherwise, I know where I want to hang that series, one at a time, changing the painting every month; but the person who owns the establishment is very busy, so we shall see.

I don’t really want to look anywhere else, as that place is my first choice.

The fifth painting of the Universe Montclair Series is in progress, and will hang at Diamond Cycle once complete.

I’d look for it by hopefully August.
