Hi,

My name is Tim Folzenlogen. I’m an artist. I was born in Cincinnati (1952) and lived there until I was 23. I graduated from The Art Academy of Cincinnati.

I’ve had over 50 solo shows, mostly in NYC, some in Japan, and a few real thought provoking ones in Cincinnati. (Read my essay entitled Conceptual Art on my website).

For the last few years, I’ve been doing public art projects, as opposed to showing in galleries. I’m very interested in exploring the idea of community, of interacting with others as part of my artistic expression. I encourage you to check out my projects, in the Projects folder on my website. I think they are all deeply inspired.

Recently I was in Cincinnati, and so I got to thinking about it. I wrote a couple of proposals for shows I’d like to do there.

I’m kind of shopping them around now. Others have read these proposals before you, and maybe one of them suggested that I send them to you.

Of course, should you want to work with me on these projects, I’d love to have that discussion.

Or maybe you’d just like to make a suggestion.
