"The Chubb Gallery"

Introduction

I know that you are very busy people.

Everyone is.

There simply are not enough hours in a day.

Who has time for anything new?

But what if that new thing, was something very cool and interesting?

Fresh perspectives are cool.

This exhibition of my paintings will hang here for two months.

My paintings are the external manifestation of everything I am - at the time in which I do them.

I’m a pretty deep person - and so they have a lot to say.

I hope that you will spend a little time with them. Walk through the gallery every once in awhile - on different days, different times of the day – when you are in different kinds of moods.

I think you will find that you will see my art differently - depending upon what you are thinking and feeling.

It’s like my paintings can talk to you - about anything you ask them.

My paintings want to get to know you.

Relationships are two-way experiences.

In order to truly understand the paintings, it helps a lot if you get to know the artist.

Should you be interested, I’ve created a website for this very purpose.

“Thoughts”, in the Projects file, is a nice introduction to my thought. It takes about fifteen minutes to click through.

The “Seinfeld Project and Diaries” are my most recent project. This is an on-going project that might take me a year to complete. It’s very fresh.

But the Essays, the essays get into the real meat of who I am.

Here’s a fun idea.

You can be part of my artistic expression.

Every day, once a day, read one of my essays.

It won’t take but a few minutes of your time.

Read an essay a day - bouncing all over according to topic.

The titles can be misleading, as I’ll probably take you down a different path than the one the title might suggest in your head.

I’ll bet you will have an interesting experience.

It will be a very out-of-the-ordinary experience.

But then, what’s so great about ordinary?
