Intro

These paintings are part of a series of 20.

The entire series was begun in 2001. I worked on all of them at the same time, a coat at a time. These happened to roll off the assembly line in 2002. The others are in the 2001 folder.

The entire series was shown at Capo Verde, but only ten at a time. Every week or so, I would change a few paintings.

The show was entitled "Thinking Deeply". The Thinking Deeply writing, which was also part of my first NYC gallery show 16 years ago, follows the paintings in this link.

They are all oil on panel. 10" x 15" I shot these images myself, using a hand-held digital camera, and so there is some distortion of the rectangle, which seems impossible to correct without buying a more expensive camera.
